This body of work emerges as a study of organic shapes intended to explore past memories through jewelry design. I am interested in how our memories are kept in our brain and how we can access them to provide us with insights.

Organic shapes have been used for centuries to create different form of art and to express different messages. What is interesting about the use of organic shapes is that they are universally pleasing, they remind us and connect us to different memories and visual experiences regardless of where we come from.

These pieces are a visual representation of memories that keep me connected to my roots. Every shape links memories of my childhood visiting art museums in Caracas-Venezuela with my family. From an early age, I was exposed to a broad range of art and was particularly drawn to Venezuelan artists such Oswaldo Vigas and Armando Barrios, whom now have a direct influence on the development of my work. By working exclusively with vitreous enamel, rose quartzes, and organic shapes, I aim to represent the delicacy and beauty of my memories.
